Canonical URL: https://pitchtime.app/formation-board

Put your team on the pitch. Move players, add names and save a lineup image for your team chat.

## How do I make a formation image?

Choose 7v7, 9v9 or 11v11 and a formation. Add one name per line, starting with the goalkeeper. Extra players go on the bench. Drag a marker to move it; double-tap or double-click to edit its name and shirt number. With a keyboard, focus a marker and use the arrow keys to move it or Enter to edit. Add your team name and kit colour, then save an image or copy the link.

## Which formation suits my age group?

Start with the format your league uses. For 7v7, 1-2-3-1 gives players a clear role in each line. For 9v9, 1-3-2-3 adds width and forward options. For 11v11, 1-4-3-3 gives you a balanced starting shape. Keep roles simple and give players time in different positions.
